Legend has it, that The Virginia Swim Shop was once a box of goggles in the trunk of a coach's car, just to provide swimmers with basic equipment right before swim meets and practices. Quickly, after the car trunk could only supply so much, the Virginia Swim Shop moved into a trailer outside of NOVA of Virginia Aquatics (NOVA) Gayton Facility. After continued success and popularity, the Virginia Swim Shop finally earned some retail space after conjoining forces with NOVA. In 2020, NOVA aquired a second facility at Regency Square Mall, opening our second brick and mortar location opened. In 2025, with the addition of upper deck seating at NOVA, the Virginia Swim Shop doubled our retail space on the second floor.
Our mission is quite simple. We want to provide quality swimwear and equipment to swimmers from beginners to masters to everyone in between, at the best prices possible. We really pride ourselves knowing what matters most to our swimmers and teams. Some of our featured partners are: Speedo, Dolfin, Arena, Jolyn, and Nike to name a few.
